I was stuck in this horrible dream and I juuust woke myself outta it.

I had gone to a library to take a quiz for a class. It didn’t look like the CBC library though there were CBC people there. There were also people from church and people I didn’t even know I remembered from high school.

I was in the underground part of the library when the dream made me realize that the underground library was connected to a long foresty hill and that was the main exit. A large group of us were walking out of the library by starting to go on that hill. A friend and I were at the very back of the group.

Now, the foresty hill had a lot of trees separating the path that led upward and the path that led downward. I was at the base of the hill when I saw those old type of country banners waving as they were about to go down the hill. I immediately sensed danger and shouted to the group going up the hill to get to safety. The group couldn’t get out in time as the old-time looking army turned into very modern government agents with very sharpshooting guns. I quickly retreated back to the underground basement where there were around 100 of us huddling on the floors.

That’s when I pulled my camera out. I had my camera bag slung on my shoulder the whole time. This is the weird part: My camera was also a gun.

I put on my favorite lens, an aspherical zoom lens, and I started clicking away at the government guys. I was so far away that they couldn’t tell where the shots were coming from. But I could tell the distance was causing my shots to mostly fail to hit them. So I moved closer and that’s when the library’s desks became bushes. I kept shooting until I had killed lines and lines of the agents. They finally found my location and started firing. I kept moving around but still shot at them.

I moved all the way to the back and pulled out my kit lens, a full-range zoom. Bad idea. I couldn’t get the glass to autofocus. Typical. So I scurried back for my aspherical lens.

But by that time, the agents had retreated. I had this huge sense that they were preparing for some huge attack. I crawled around the library looking for people and saw people hiding everywhere. Some of these people were friends from high school. I saw people from my home church. I saw people from CBC. And I saw plenty of strangers.

I started looking for exits but couldn’t find any other way out except for the hill. One of the last things I did was get on Twitter to try to tweet for help. Cell phones weren’t working but Wifi was, I guess. When I tweeted, the tweet just disappeared. I realized that the agents were filtering out tweets that had anything to do with our situation. I don’t know why they had time to do that, but ya.

And that was probably the last thing that happened before I woke up. It was vivid and crazy. I usually don’t dream and if I do dream, I don’t remember it, so to remember a dream with this much details is pretty intense for me. Maybe I can use this as the foundation for my first novel haha.
